The Open is Here

CFFP will also hold an in-house open. The CFFP Open will also require a simple sign up for participation through Tony. All Open workouts will be completed during class times on Friday’s. More details below:
IN HOUSE OPEN COMP
Friday = Open WOD Day: Each Friday, the Open WOD becomes our class workout of the day.
Submission Deadlines: You've got until the following Monday, 8 PM, to submit your WOD scores.
Can't Make It Friday? No worries! If you're traveling or have other commitments, simply connect with a coach. We've got backup options for Saturday and Monday, or you can drop into another gym while you're away.
The Intramural Twist: We're spicing things up by dividing participants into small teams. It's not just about individual glory; your team will rack up points over three weeks through various challenges.
How Points Work:
3 Points for completing the Open workout in Friday's class.
3 Points for sporting your team colors during the workout.
3 Points for engaging in our "Minute to Win It" Thursday challenge (1 point for joining, 3 for conquering the challenge).
Some key dates:

Athlete of the Month
Stephen N.
Congratulations to our CFFP Athletes of the Month, Stephen N.
This month, we’re thrilled to recognize an exceptional athlete who proves that age is truly just a number. With all the right equipment and master’s options, Stephen has shown dedication, consistency, and discipline to meet the goals he has set before reaching his latest birthday. Each month, Stephen brings the right mindset to the table of improving personal bests, continuing to show up to the gym, and working to increase his bench press. He is a great example of someone who has balanced training with the demands of work, family, and life, he offers a powerful reminder than with consistency and discipline, anyone can reach their goals, no matter their age.
We are so happy to have Stephen as our Athlete of the Month and as an awesome member of our CFFP community. Keep up the great work. Congratulations Stephen!
Each month we spotlight a CFFP athlete who stands out. We are always looking for that athlete that shows up, gives their best, and then gives more. These athletes are ready to learn, ready to work, support their fellow classmates, and encourage others to reach their goals. If you have someone in mind please send your suggestions for August’s Athlete of the Month via email to crossfitfortpierce@gmail.com or you can DM the Instagram page sharing why you think this athlete is deserving.
